I Refuse to Be Defined by Silence

On refusing to be remembered by what was withheld — choosing to speak, name, and live aloud.

Silence was once my shield. It kept me safe, kept me hidden, kept me small. But silence is not identity. It is not truth. It is not legacy. I refuse to be defined by what I did not say. I refuse to be remembered by what I withheld. I will speak. I will name. I will live aloud.
