I Refuse to Inherit Shame
On refusing the shame handed down like an heirloom — choosing dignity, clarity, and peace instead.
Shame was handed down like an heirloom, wrapped in silence, bound in secrecy. But I refuse to inherit it. I refuse to wear what was never mine. I refuse to carry what was never truth. I inherit dignity instead. I inherit clarity. I inherit peace. And that is the legacy I choose to keep.
